Design For Humanity

This Sunday we began our series Perfect Design. Perfect meaning absolute and complete. Design is the purpose, planning or intention that exist behind an action, fact or material object.

According to Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens an the earth.” The beginning day 1 had the ending day 6 always in mind. God designed the heavens and the earth and everything else from day 1,2,3,4,5,6 for mankind. Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” God created a Perfect Design for Humanity.

The Bible tells us in Genesis 3:1-7 that Adam and Eve sinned and brought death and separation from God to humans. The psalmist wrote in Psalms 139:17 “How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!” We are to have good and Godly thoughts and not evil thoughts. Jesus leads us in the way everlasting! Psalms 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Know my thoughts means to have an open dialogue with God.

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. “ God’s plan for our life is greater and better than any plan we could ever design. Psalms 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
